Dear Doctors,
As you are aware, the Locum clinic was meant to reduce the non-emergency workload from the Emergency Dept. It is however administratively managed by the ED. Recently, the number of complaints and problems have markedly increased. Some of the common issues are 1) poor documentation on card and MC books 2) coming late and going off early 3) instructing the counter to close early 4) absent from the clinic without informing and without replacement 5) poor standard of clinical care 6) not following common and routine practice.
As a result of this, we are forming a group to review the performance of all doctors currently registered for the Locum Clinic. This group will be tasked to identify doctors who are not performing well or are repeatedly the source of some of the problems noted above. These doctors, once identified, will be black-listed for a period of not less than 6 months, which means that they will not be considered for the Locum Clinic during that period of time.
The vast majority of doctors are performing very well, but a small number are not; causing much additional administrative work for the ED and causing significant problems for the system. It is our intention to only provide locum clinic slots to doctors who are willing and able to perform the tasks well.

i've been getting less slots!! am I doing wrong in clinic....if i do please tell....3 months ago 1 was given 1 ..the following month was not given at all....this month also 1.... huh...when some people who requested much later can get 3.....
